Discount debit card => Checking account

Hello, I changed my autopay method from debit card to checking account so I should receive $10 discount instead of $5. However, my statement doesn't change and still shows only $5 discount. I changed my method a few days ago. It takes enough time for your system reflects this change. When can I get $10 discount with autopay by bank checking account?

Hi there! It will take a couple of billing cycles, generally, for the discount to apply as the payment has to be processed through the new method for the discount to be effective.

@XfinitySheila Hi, thanks for your reply. According to your explain, I have to pay current statement with $5 discount and, possibly, next statement will come with $10 discount - is it correct?

Hello user_a9a031, thanks for taking the time to reach out. Once you've signed up for the Automatic Payments and Paperless Billing discount, it can take 1-2 billing cycles to apply the credit.

I'd be happy to check into this further for you.

Isn't Discover cashback debit a checking account? I was going to switch to it but I also don't want to lose the $5 credit.

That is a terrific question!  Did you order checks for the account?  If so, is there a routing number on the checks along with your account number?
