Disconnect service and bankruptcy
We are past due on account about $500. Service was disconnected. They wouldn’t offer anymore payment options other than pay all at once. This account was under my wife’s name. I opened up a new account a few days ago. Picked up a new modem and service was activated. Now I come home and service is disconnected. I filed ch 7 bankruptency today. Is there a way to restore internet service?

As long as there is an outstanding bill due at that address you won't be able to get service. While everyone says "oh, just cancel and sign up with your spouse", that doesn't work if there is money owed.
The account is in your wife's name. You said I filed ch 7 bankruptcy today. Did you file a joint bankruptcy or just for yourself? If only for yourself, there may be a problem with the fact the account is in her name. I don't know if you can list her account as an outstanding debt. That would be up to the bankruptcy judge, and/or if you have an attorney. It would be a question to ask them.
