Direct message for help with account

I have an account in collections, with my name, that is not mine. I am trying to get in touch with someone directly that can send me proof that this is not my debt. I have spoken with customer service three separate times now about this, and the last call I made, I was told to just send the credit bureau a copy of my statement from the same time as the debt and that should clear it up. It did not. I disputed and they said it will remain. I am frustrated with calling and sitting on hold for so long just to be told that no one sees that I owe comcast any money, so I am hoping to direct message customer service to try to get this resolved.

Good evening @user_ikcnt9 and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums so we can help resolve your concerns. I see that you have an account in collections with your name that isn't yours. Was an account fraudulently created in your name?

I am assuming so, since I have an open account that was open at the same time. When I spoke to customer service and your billing department, they told me that they saw no debts that should have been in my name.

I would just like to find out if I can get an official statement or something that I can send them, or if there is a way for someone to reach out to them directly to help me clear this up.

Let's see if we can get a ticket submitted to help clear this up @user_ikcnt9. If someone opened an account fraudulently, you may also want to consider reaching out to our amazing Customer Security Assurance (CSA) team. They can be contacted directly at 1-888-565-4329 and their hours of operation are 8:00am - 12:00am EST, 7 days a week. To get started on the ticketing process, can you please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name along with your service address?
