Desired sign up

Hello I’m trying to sign up so I can get my account back working again. Do I have to pay first to sign up for desired sign up or can I sign up first & then pay. May you guys text this new number, my old number is still attached to this bill an everything.

The concern is not "Xfinity App" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
