Delay in canceling Internet service
On Sunday, May 12, I spoke with a phone agent and requested that my internet service be terminated immediately. She said the request had been submitted, and I assumed it would be terminated the next day. Monday I received an email stating it would be terminated on May 15. I checked today and it is still active. Just now chatted with an agent who stated it will now be turned off tomorrow, 5 days after the initial request.
Does it normally take this long to turn off a service? I have no doubt I’ll be charged for all 5 days. It’s not a lot of money but it’s still disappointing that Xfinity is probably doing this intentionally.
