Debt collections

Hello, 

I’ve been contacted by a debt collections agency. However, I was never informed by xfinity that I had a remaining balance nor did they ever write to me that I had a certain amount of time to pay before my debt was sent to an agency. I am beyond frustrated that this may ding me on my credit report. Please give insights.

hi

i just received mail from Waypoint Resource group LLC stating that i owe you $35 as of March 09, 2025.

I talked with Xfinity live agents TWO times and two times i was told that you updated the collection agency with this info and that there is nothing to worry about.  

also as of now i can see in my account that i still owe Xfinity $35. but in that situation i also was told that my acc will be in 3h. i think that 3h already left from March 09 2025.

the mail from Waypoint Resource group LLC stating that i must pay my debt by May 02, 2026. 

any insight about this? can you send them confirmation that i dont owe anything to Xfinity and also update my account from $35 to $0
