Debt Collection sent after me over remaining balance

Hello,

I need to know why I was just notified of debt collectors coming after me over 55$? I was never notified of a remaining bill never got a call or email. I no longer live at the address that was serviced. 

my credit score has been negatively impacted and I will not allow this to go unsolved.

I have already payed the balance just in case. I want 100% removal of my name from any debt collection agency. I need a formal apology and refund for the charge from Xfinity. I will not stand for this it’s unreal. The craziest part is I was notified by Credit Karma not even Xfinity.

I need to know what the charge of 55$ was in the first place? Why I wasn’t notified in any way? Why a 3rd party application was the way I found out this was a thing in the first place. This company is horrible you’re so lucky you can just monopolize this industry because in no other field of business would this ever be okay.
