customer service by phone ,for billing issues are almost non existent

Is there a customer service phone number that I can call (and talk to an actual person) if there is a billing issue? The chat assistant and the xfinity webpage for the store in my area referred me to 1-800-934-6489(which is 1-800-xfinity). On two separate occasions, both people that answered the number and  stated that I've reached the solutions center. They then both tried to sell me a protection plan requiring a one time payment to lower my bill. When I tell them that I am not interested, and that I have just a billing issue, they say that they don't do that, and that I have to call my internet service provider. When I ask them isn't xfinity my internet service provider, they told me that they were not xfinity and that I dialed the wrong number and it happens quite often. I then then tell them (on both occasions), that I dialed 1-800-xfinity(1-800-934-6489), and they repeated the same line, "you dialed the wrong phone number and it happens quite often". If anyone knows of another customer service number please let me know. I will no long deal with customer service by phone as getting the help that you need is a roll of the dice(One person was helpful, all the others were not). I also will not be using the chatbot assistant as the responses are limited to certain questions. Also the sentences have to be shortened so much, that you can't explain the help you need. I will be going into my area store to resolve my issue but sad that contacting customer service by phone and internet is so terrible and almost non existent. Judging by the reviews and comments that I see regarding customer service I am not alone at all. My suggestion to Xfinity, is to improve on actual person customer service, ease of contact, better help support, and less tryin to sell you stuff. The chatbot assistant does not work well and frustrates your customers. I have been with xfinity for two month and have had billing issues for each month. I hope that this will not be a monthly occurance.

I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience when calling our support line, @user_9asvin. The correct customer support phone number would be 1-800-934-6489. You did dial the correct number. I'm not sure how that could have routed you to a different department. But we can help with your billing concerns here. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look.

xfinity Dilary was helpful in removing the $10 late fee charge but I am still being charged the $25 return fee charge even if I am on autopay and have a payment confirmation receipt for the payment that I am being charged for. All of the other issues that I have brought up still exist so I cannot mark this post as having being resolved. It is still unacceptable. Easy access to helpful customer service needs to be improved greatly. The autopay and customer service help does not work well at all.
