Credit Balance on my account

Hi, I have a credit balance on my account. I moved to an apartment complex the includes the Xfinity Service through them, so I have no payment information on file to have the credit refunded to. How can I get this credit refunded to my bank account?

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_c5ede7. Normally if there is not any payment information included on the account, they would send out a paper check within 30 days for that amount. I can look further into that for you if you can send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.

   Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

   The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

I am in a similar situation. I finally got a credit for $120 that was supposed to go back to our credit card after we were wrongly charged for hardware, but it posted as a credit to our account. I was VERY specific about it NOT being a credit to our account. This is NO good to us as we no longer have Xfinity! How do we get this credit sent back to our credit card? I am not wanting to spend another 30 minutes on a phone call with Comcast/Xfinity to resolve this so I'm hoping one of the moderators here can do the right thing for a long time customer and assist me before I head to social media for some attention.

@user_sjd5n0 Thank you for sharing the trouble you are having as well with the account refund. You are with the right team for help. Typically, what has to happen is that the charge or service is credited back to the account. The refund is issued within 6-8 weeks as long as all leased equipment has been returned. The refund would be issued back to your credit card, as long as the refund balance is the same amount or less than the last payment processed. If the refund total is over the amount of the last payment made, a prepaid card will be issued for the refund total.
