Cost for the service
My wife and I are the only one who use the internet service at our address. We do not upload anything major (no games, videos, music etc) and yet our bill continues to increase dramatically (going up nearly 9 dollars in the last year or so. We would like to get a more reasonable expenditure on this and I noticed that Xfinity has a special (good for 5 years) for around $50.00. How would the download and internet speeds on that plan compare to what we are currently paying for. Can we access this plan?

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

From my experience it usually goes up due to an end in promotional rates on the account. In the spirit of transparency, we provide a listing of the active promotions, the amount saved, and the end date on each and every billing statement. It would be under your services in green text. If you are doing paperless billing, you can check your statements with the directions here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/view-xfinity-billing-history
I am here to confirm what is going on. If that is the case I would be happy to review the account for a new discount.
Please send me a Direct Message with your name and service address so that I can fully dive into this for you! I will leave you instructions on how to initiate the message with us! I look forward to working with you soon!
