Comcast/XFINITY Website IS SLOW!!!!!

Dear Comcast:

I recently signed up for a number of products from Xfinity, and have been a long time customer of others.  I have noticed a shift in how you seem to perceive current customer: instead of the former perception of "these guys are the cash cows that we can milk while we try to get new customers", you seem to be actually focused on current LOYAL customer (I'm a Diamond member ...).

So ... in general, happy with the Xfinity products I have.  However, DOING BUSINESS with Xfinity is a pain [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"].  My primary interface is through the website - and that is how I want to interact with you - but your website performance is AWFUL!!!!!!   Let me be clearer:  [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"]

I recently had to cancel a credit card which was, unfortunately, the card that Xfinity Mobile bills monthly.   It took 30 minutes JUST TO LOG ON TO MY ACCOUNT.  The website "got stupid" several times and blew everything away, returning me to the public website.   When I did get logged on, it took ANOTHER 30 minutes to update the credit card.  Most of that time was spent watching wheels spin ... and spin ... and spin ...

COME ON!!  You routinely brag to us that you are delivering FLASHINGLY FAST Internet to my house (and other website performance was JUST FINE).   Logging onto and getting business accomplished on your website should be FAST, SEAMLESS, PAINLESS.  It is the opposite of all of those things.  I repeat:  [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"].

Having spent 30+ years in the software business, I suspect you have cobbled multiple [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] systems together with some idiotic application messaging system ... and everything sends requests for data (account verification, billing status, billing data, product set ... ) to each other and then WAITS ENDLESSLY for the [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] systems to respond across the [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"] messaging system with information (or "oops, I broke.  Start over.")

Its a deal breaker guys ... and no, I don't want to CALL YOU or CHAT with you ... that takes EVEN LONGER.   How about you spend some time and money and enter the current century on your technology.  There is no way this should take so long.

@user_ybbtgg I’m really sorry you’ve had this experience. I completely understand why spending nearly an hour on something like this would be frustrating, especially when you prefer managing your account online.

We’d be happy to troubleshoot this with you and see what we can uncover. What device and browser are you using, and have you experienced the same issue through the Xfinity app or another browser?
