Comcast/ Xfinity full of lies, don’t enroll in their promotions

We were offered a promotion for $25/ month for internet if we added a mobile line for $30/ month. Making our total $55/ month. However, after dealing with their agents and representatives since August of 2024, they are stating their employee was “misinformed” and did not communicate that the iPad (that the agent advertised to us as part of the promotion) was not eligible for the promotion to begin with. Xfinity has given no resolution other than continue paying more than what we agreed to or we lose service. They refuse to honor the promotion advertised to us by their agent, refuse to return the iPad and adjust our account, or refund for the overcharges from the last 8 months. This company is a joke, full of lies and hold no accountability for their actions.

@user_hscx55 Hello there! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and reach out to our Xfinity Community Forums Team. I can see how this would be a frustrating scenario, especially when trying to budget for your services. I'd be happy to take a closer look, and get you in the right direction for a resolution. To begin, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, service address, and the mobile number associated with your account?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

@XfinityKassie

I’ve spoken with countless representatives even to the point of speaking with higher up executives after filing an FCC complaint. I’d prefer to not waste (more) hours of my time trying to get a resolution. I just want our promotion to be honored and be refunded our overcharge from the last 8 months.

Does Xfinity honor promotions that agents advertise, even when the customer has recordings of this? Or do your customers just have to deal with the consequences of agents falsely advertising and pay more than they agreed to?

@user_vczerj

Would you please start a new thread with your issue [other than your complaint] so that a ticket will be opened to the Official Employees that work here.  They will respond to that post.

Thanks!
