Comcast promised refund instead of credit. Issued credit. I requested a call back from billing, been on hold 20 minutes after callback.

I am an ACP recipient and let an agent talk me into getting internet essentials plus with the assurance that the new plan, the switch, and everything would be completely covered at no cost to me. Lo and behold I was charged without permission. I called Comcast to refund this and return my service to the basic internet essentials plan. They offered credit, which I refused. If you steal actual money you should return actual money. After being assured I would get a refund, I received bill credit. As an ACP recipient, I do not have a bill to use this on. The government program pays my bill. I requested a call back from billing, and was put on hold for 20 minutes after waiting on the callback, and then put on hold again with no resolution. What do I have to do to get the money stolen from me returned to me? As in, my hand or my bank account. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Thank you very much for reaching out to our team here @Angied1993. I will be happy to look at any billing issue from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
