If your account has a balance that was charged off or sent to collections, you can either pay the balance through the collection agency or through Xfinity directly. If you pay through Xfinity, it can take approximately five days for the payoff to be updated with the collection agency. Your payment will be reported to the credit bureau as "Paid In Full" or "Satisfied" within 90 days of the final payment, but it will not be deleted or removed from your credit report entirely.
