Collection Hold

I tried to activate new service yesterday and it would not work.  After doing the customer service Olympics(3 transfers and a different number to call) I finally found out that I had a collection hold.  I did carry a small balance for a while but have since brought the account up to date.  Today, I received 3 texts from xfinity about tickets opened for my issue(assuming rep I talked to did this for me).  All tickets were reviewed and denied.  My question is what happens now?  Do I wait 7 days and then am allowed service then, or am I banned from having an Xfinity account going forward?  Been a loyal customer for more than 2 decades and am seemingly in WiFi purgatory.  What is the next step for me?
