Chat scam
I started a chat on Dec. 4 because I had just had throat surgery and couldn’t call, nor go to the store. My 2-year Internet promotion of 65 was expiring and I wanted to stay at same rate. Long story short, 4 and a half hours later and 5 people later…. Because I kept asking for someone else as these people were trying rknsell me other things or disconnect me, I got someone who helped me - or so I thought! I took pics of our conversation. He kept my same price for one year. We were done. Have pics of the screen of our conversation. Well, not true! Got an email yesterday saying my Jan. Bill is ready and of course it’s 20$ more. I had to then go to the store today. Show the employee all the pics and explain it all. He was nice, but would not honor it. Says my Order Number wasn’t there, and nothing there as the man had put down. I am livid! A scam! Xfinity just scans peoke -lies!
