Charging for every movie including movies that are 20+ years old

I’m leaving Xfinity, I pay 280 a month and nothing is free , what am I getting for that price ? Anytime I want to watch a movie (old movies) 4.99 , 3.99 like [Edit: Language]… what is the point of having cable in 2024?
