Charged Twice

I have been charged twice due to me paying a payment arrangement I set up a few days earlier than it was due. I did not budget for that bill to be taken out of my bank account twice. How do I go about receiving a refund back to my debit card ?

Thanks for reaching out to us I do hope you enjoyed your holiday week. As a customer I understand your concerns on the double payment, I've actually did the same thing. I set up a payment arrangement but I didn't see it go through when I thought it was going to go through, so I manually made the payment,  but since I was set up on a payment arrangement,  it did deduct the payment arrangement amount which then credits the current account since Xfinity bills a month in advance.

If you had a payment arrangement set and you also made a manual payment, that additional payment will go to your current bill and your next month's bill. Being that you made the payment and the account is it still active and since we bill a month in advance, we would not be able to process a refund

Hello, @user_nbrja4 An "echeck/eft return" usually indicates that the previous payment was unsuccessful. With the payment being returned, there would be a charge associated on the service bill for the payment amount that was unsuccessful. Your most recent service bill should reflect the next months services as well as the "echeck/eft return" charge for last month's services. You should be able to see a deduction withdrawal in your ledger.
