Charged twice for same bill

My payment on file was charged on Dec 31, 2021 for the amount due. I was just charged again for the same amount. There are 2 charges now shown on my bank account for the same amount and my Xfinity account shows a credit as the balance in the amount of one of those charges. I did not initiate or authorize the 2nd charge as I’m on automatic billing. I want the 2nd charge refunded to the payment method used.

Thank you for reaching out to us so that we can look into this double payment and see if we can refund it back to you. To get started, please use the chat icon in the upper right to enter Direct Messaging. From there, go ahead and compose a new message to "Xfinity Support" and send us a message with your name and address. 

 

To send a direct message [private message]:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon

or Direct Messaging

  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  • - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  • - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

@XfinityJoshD Sent the message. How long will it take before I receive an answer? I also sent screen shots of everything, so there shouldn’t be any way to deny the charges happened.
