Charged for free Phone line with Internet which i canceled. Billed 70$ for the free line

Hello,

I was about to switch my home internet to Xfinity, but had to cancel because of shipping delays. While i ordered for the Gateway device they said i have 1 promotional free line. But because of the shipment delay, i canceled their service and went with alternative provider. After 2 month, xfinity charged my creditcard 70$. When i enquired, they said because the mobile line was active. I have never received a sim, never used their service, never activated it in the 1st place, but still charged for it. Nighmare still continued to 2nd month despite i chat with your customer agent. Then it was just canceled. I want to know why you scaming customer. How can u activate a service without providing any details. Why am i charged 70$ for nothing.. 0 calls, 0 messages, 0 kb internet..

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_xeuvus I apologize for the experience so far. You should not be charged for a service you did not use or even activate. Some of our Xfinity Internet Plans do include the Xfinity Mobile Unlimited line at no additional cost for 1 year, however you would have to activate this, it would no just begin on its own.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address to get started with further assisting with this.
