Charged after Cancellation Date

I scheduled the cancellation of my service and account on May 24th (the service should end on June 21), received notice about the ticket under process, return the equipment (received by Xfinity on June 12, and still get charged on June 21 night.

user_pg1yr4 Thanks for reaching out! You will be charged until the billing end date that is set on your cancelation request. When you return Xfinity equipment, that does not disconnect the account at that time.

The billing end date is supposed to be June 21. I chose the first day of the next cycle, and I confirmed with the agent I talked to on the phone that I would not be charged on June 21.
