Charged a $100 one-time fee despite service agent telling me it was free

Hi,

I spoke with a customer service agent 1 month ago regarding having a technician configure my building to receive internet service. The technician simply added a splitter to the basement connection. The service agent specifically mentioned the service being free and adding a note such that any potential service fees would be waived.

I request that this fee be waived on the grounds that I was promised the technician visit would be free and that any service fees would otherwise be waived. Please let me know if you require more information. Thank you!

Good Evening @ericbz thank you for taking the time to reach out to us regarding this service fee. If you were promised that a fee would be waived or not charged, we do want to accommodate that as much as possible.
