Changed my speed and am still going to be billed for the new one

Hello I changed my Internet speed down to 300mbps but still says I will be billed for 2000mbps. despite the fact they instantly changed the speed down to 300mps, before the billing cycle ended and haven’t updated the billing amount to reflect the speed. how is this going to be resolved?

Hello @user_1eu6t6, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum, and we would be happy to help. When did you make the change?

@XfinityChelseaB hi I made the change earlier today and the speed was immediately reduced just want to make sure either I’d recieve a credit if I’m charged for that amount or that it’s be changed before I’m charged

user_1eu6t6 If your bill for this cycle was already posted before you made any changes, the changes would be reflected on your next bill, the bill following the change.
