Change credit card on file for XM

My credit card used to pay for XM was compromised and I am due to receive a new card. I went to the XM site to update the card info (to another card which is valid) but I get a message saying I am not the primary owner and cannot make changes. (I am the only owner). So after about half an hour of navigating through fruitless links, I resign myself to having to visit a physical store to make the change. At the same time, I *was* able to make the change on the xfinity account proper, but the XM seems to have different payment info. Will the change I made on the xfinity site apply also for XM or is it still necessary for me to go to the store? The card being reported on the XM account is still the old one. Thanks

@aswales Thank you for making us aware that you're having a difficult time updating the payment method for your Xfinity Mobile account online. I would be more than happy to review your information to see why you're receiving these error messages and confirm if the new card you used at the store appears on your mobile account. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section.
