Cancelled service on 7/3, charged full month on 6/29, equipment returned — still no refund

I'm getting pretty frustrated at this point. I cancelled my service on July 3rd and returned all the equipment right away. But I got charged the full month's fee of $46.59 back on June 29th, for service I never used. It's now been almost a month since cancellation and I still haven't seen a refund, or even an email explaining what's going on with it. At this point I just want someone to actually look into this and tell me when I'm getting my money back, instead of getting bounced around customer service with no real answer. I've already been through that and it didn't go anywhere.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_3pbpe3 Thanks for reaching out to our team for help. From those dates I would say you were billed before your disconnection was processed. Normally that new bill is credited back, and a final bill is sent out which reflects charges through your disconnection date. No worries I can check and resolve this for you!  Can you please direct message me your first and last name along with your full service address so I can assist you further?
