Cancelled Service in December at Oak Brook Office - Sent to Collections After

I cancelled my service with you in December of 2025 through the Oak Brook location and dropped off all equipment.

My account was sent to collections for $120 even though I made my final payments at the Oak Brook location.

I even had an additional auto payment taken out in January for the service I had already cancelled.

Greetings, user_4ysppg! Thanks for reaching out with your billing concerns after your cancellation. I understand it is important to ensure you have peace of mind after cancelling your account without any worries of a remaining balance being sent to collections. By chance, did you receive a collections letter or notice in an email where you can contact your local collection's office to check if they cleared the balance you paid off?

@XfinityNatalie I have a collections record on my credit report for an amount of money that I was told I did not owe. In fact, I am pretty sure Xfinity auto-paid an extra month after my cancellation.  I did not receive any billing for the amount in collections and I did not receive any notices of collections. It just showed up on my credit report one day.
