Cancellation

I’m very disappointed. I was encouraged to sign up for Xfinity WiFi and mobile bundle to save money and then when I’m ready to cancel, they only canceled my WiFi and have continued to charge me for mobile for 4 months even though I’m not using it. By the time I noticed and found out how to cancel, they wouldn’t refund me anything. I had no problems with Xfinity until now, this is very unprofessional.

@user_30p54j Thanks for sharing your experience. Residential and mobile services are separate, and each have their own billing accounts. Having multiple services does require making sure the right ones are cancelled. We'll post the steps below for anyone needing to cancel mobile service:

Cancellation Methods

  • By Phone: Call 1-888-936-4968. Select the mobile services prompt, or press zero repeatedly to reach a live representative who will send an approval link via text or email to finalize the disconnection.

  • Online or App:

Log in to your account on the website or app, go to the "Devices" tab, select the line you want to cancel, and follow the prompts.

  • In-Person:

Speak directly with a representative at your nearest Xfinity Store.

Thank you, but this response does not address my complaint.

The issue is not that I need instructions on how to cancel Xfinity Mobile. The issue is that I originally purchased Xfinity Internet and Mobile together as a bundle after being encouraged by an Xfinity representative to do so to save money. I was never informed that they were separate accounts requiring separate cancellation procedures.

When I later went to Xfinity in person to cancel my service, my Internet service was canceled, but my Mobile service was left active without my knowledge. I reasonably believed I had canceled my Xfinity services and subsequently continued to be charged for Mobile for approximately four months despite not using the service.

I then returned to the same Xfinity store today, September 24, 2026, specifically to resolve and cancel the Mobile service. I was told by the store that they could not cancel it in person and that I had to call a phone number. Your response here now lists visiting an Xfinity Store as one of the methods for canceling Mobile service. Those two statements directly contradict each other.

I am not asking for additional cancellation instructions. I am asking Xfinity to review what occurred, including my original cancellation/store interaction, and refund the Mobile charges that accumulated after I attempted to cancel my Xfinity service.

Please escalate this to someone who has the authority to review the account history and resolve the billing dispute. I am happy to provide my account information privately.
