Cancellation Not Completed After Two Calls - Continued Billing
I am requesting assistance with an unresolved cancellation and billing issue for my former Xfinity internet service in Seattle, WA.
Timeline:
-
October 2: I contacted Xfinity by phone to cancel my service.
-
October 3–4: I received two cancellation acknowledgments, both with the "Last day of service" field left blank.
-
October 11: I called again. The representative promised to make the cancellation effective October 2, refund any improper charges, and disable autopay.
-
October 15: Xfinity issued another bill for $105.59, covering October 20–November 19, despite my cancellation requests.
Autopay has since been disabled, but I have received no confirmation that the cancellation was completed or that the billing was corrected.
I no longer live at the service address, and the internet there is offline.
I am requesting:
-
Confirmation of cancellation effective October 2, 2026.
-
Removal of all service charges after that date and a refund of any overpayments.
-
A corrected final statement confirming that no further service charges will be issued.
I would like this matter resolved entirely through written correspondence, without another phone call. I have already attempted to resolve it by phone twice without success and would like a documented record of the resolution.
Please have an authorized Xfinity representative assist me through private messaging. I can provide my account details and supporting documentation privately.
Thank you.
