California time

For crying out loud, people, when you send a bill that says "pay by x date" please make sure that you abide by THAT date in the United States. Repeatedly I have been dinged or shut off because the date on my bill (June 18) is not California time. It is India time. I'm not in India. Don't keep shutting off my service a day before the bill is due in California time. This is ridiculous when you can't even keep track of time in the country where the service is. I would have another service if there was another one available in my area.

user_uipl7h Thanks so much for reaching out to us here with your concerns! Xfinity does not have a specifictime of day that billing data is processed. At the end of each business day the system will audit all accounts as when finished process and the appropriate disconnections are then completed. You can find more information on what ot expect when your payment is late at the following link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/missing-bill-payment.

That is precisely my point. If your bills are run out of the country, they need to adjust the date on the actual bill or make accommodations to account for TIME ZONES. Otherwise, the date on the bill is inaccurate, misleading, and unfair trade practices according to the FTC. You guys might want to check into ways to either bring that billing practice back to the USA and use USA time zones, or change the date on the bill to accurately reflect the date. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has had this issue. NONE of my other bill companies have this issue and I'm pretty sure at least one of them is also in India. They seem to be able to get it right. Why can't you guys?  Unfair practices, that's why. XFinity is a monopoly in my area, unfortunately. And outrageously expensive for just internet service -- nothing else but internet ... which should NOT cost $115/month. So dumb.
