California cancel service online
As a California resident, AB 2863 entitles me by law to be able to cancel a service fully online with no obstructions. This cancellation option does not exist online and instead I am always routed to schedule a callback which is only ever available a week from now. This is in violation of my California rights and has been reported to the CA attorney general’s office. If I am unable to cancel my service in a reasonable measure I will be forced to respond with stronger legal methods…

It's entirely illegal and they do it anyway. I'm also unable to change my plan - they are charging me $80 for 100mbps (and I own my equipment) and wont change the plan or cancel unless I engage in a call that never ever comes. I am paying a LOYALTY PENALTY for being a long-term customer. My plan should be half this - this is not even offered. In fact, it would be cheaper to pay for more mbps. I filed a complaint with FCC and plan to contact FTC and Consumer General. I suggest you do the same. Credit bureaus immediately remove them from your record in the event they send you to collections AFTER cancelling (they do this often). It's so, so shady. This business disgusts me to my core. The second a competitor surfaces, they will go bankrupt because their customers hate them. I doubt this is factored into their forecasting. Sorry you're also going through this.
