CA Debt Collector Lic.

I got multiple texts and emails about unpaid debt from the CA Debt Collector Lic. #10316-99 tryin gto collect,
I got their phone number from Xfinity, but it says I can't call this company on the phone and I haven't received any contact from them yet, and keep getting texts and emails. How can I connect CA Debt Collector Lic. #10316-99 to resolve this?

I do not agree with teh debt, but Xfinity mentions I need to resolve this before claiming it's wrong!! so I decided to pay and after that, connect Xfinity for a refund. How can I connect with the collector?

user_y4f8tn, hello there and thanks for reaching out. I understand your concern and have been there before with collections. Now, I've never personally paid a collection. I'd pay the company directly especially if they still have my account for the balance left. Now, the debt that they were claiming you owed, do you remember owing a balance to Comcast/Xfinity? Have you been able to visit a retail store to validate the account? Also, regarding the number you got from Xfinity, did you call our corporate number?

Hi, thanks for the reply,

Yes, I'm in touch with Xfinity store, the payment pod in store, and an agent from phone number 266278.
After almost one month, they confirmed my balance was sent to the collector, so I cannot pay it via Xfinity and need to contact the collector. They gave me the phone number of the collector, but when I tried to call, I got: "This number is not accepting any incoming call".

The account I have charged is not active for more than 18 months ago, so I can't even log in to see what the bill.They keep charging my card, and I never noticed, because it failed in Feb for any reason, I got email and text message, and now I noticed

Thank you very much for the clarification. We would not have the contact information for a collection agency from our end. I can look at the amount that is on the account if you can send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

   Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
