So i signed up For Xfinity a few weeks ago. Never activated my service as there was a hold up moving into my apartment and still wont officially be in until sometime  the beginning of December . But i received a bill for the month and im not sure why because my service Was never active until now? But im being charged still? Why do i have to pay for service i never used?

Good afternoon @user_4dvmub. If you head over to https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/what-to-expect-with-first-bill, it will break down first bill expectations. We bill one month in advance (listed under Summarizing your first bill) which is why you received a bill. Please let us know if you have any questions.

That date range is your billing cycle. If you look on the page I sent over, under the Prorated charges section, you'll see that you will only be charged from the activation date until the end of the billing cycle.
