What is the grace period for them to shut off my phone

Hello @user_zwowzr! Good morning, and thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support for help with the account and payment policies. Please forgive our delay! 

For our Xfinity mobile phone services you will have four days to make a payment before services are interrupted. For your Xfinity home phone services the grace period differs for suspension of the services. If a payment is not made by the next billing cycle a late fee is applied and depending on your account status and history services can remain active up to 90 days. 

I know there are times we can find ourselves struggling a bit trying to make ends meet so please, if you find yourself in this position please let us know. For our repayment plans with Xfinity Mobile you can call our amazing mobile experts at 1-888-936-4968 or chat with the Xfinity Assistant.
For your Xfinity services at home you can access payment options easily through your account and chat for available options.
