Billing

I have my autopay setup on the 1st of every month. I paid my bill on July 1st for July 1 - July 31. I am moving out by the third week. If I cancel my services now, will I be able to use the internet for the remainder of the month?

Hi there, @user_liuw5l  Oh no I'm sorry to hear that you will be cancelling your services. Your services will be disconnected on the day that you would like for it to be disconnected. Since you'll be cancelling your services before the end of the billing cycle your account will receive prorated credits for the time that you have left.-Richard

@XfinityRichard What is prorated credits? So if I cancel today, my services will also be disconnected today?

That's a great question, @user_liuw5l Prorated credits are adjustments to a bill that reflect changes made during a billing cycle. Proration ensures that customers are charged accurately for the services you used, rather than for the entire billing period. If you decide to cancel your services today, yes your service will immediately be disconnected.-Richard
