I called last Friday and set up a payment arrangement or what I thought was a payment arrangement to pay $300 which is over the past due amount and then to pay the remainder on March 3rd and I thought everything was set only to be shut off on Thursday at 3:30am I called to find out why and it took me 30 minutes to get past the automated system to talk to a live agent and when I was finally able to speak to an agent I was told that they would have to call me back when the billing department opened, they called me back at 6:25am my time and talked to the billing department and they turned me back on only to shut me off again at 3:30 this morning I called back to find out what was going on I was told I didn't make a payment arrangement I only made promises to pay or something like that and that because I missed my payment arrangement last month by one day I couldn't get another payment arrangement I'm sorry I missed by one day but I was having some issues with my 92 year old mother and I couldn't make the payment until the next day and as soon as I woke up I made it ,people have problems that can't be helped I mean if it was missed altogether I understand but it was the very next day. Anyway, I digress what I don't understand is why they turned me back on for one day I was told it was all set and obviously it was not and now the one thing my 92 year old mother's one enjoyment is gone for a whole week. I'm seriously considering going back to Dish because of the hassle. I should be an administrative person on my moms account, which, when I call, I am, but on the app, I can't do anything it says I can only look. I need to be able to look and pay the bill, and I have told multiple people this, but it never gets fixed like I am told it will be. I don't know if you can help me with this or not, but I hope you can.

There is a difference between a scheduled payment and a payment arrangement. A scheduled payment is just scheduling a payment for a specific amount and time. A payment arrangement is when your services could be interrupted, and you want to extend your payment date to avoid interruption. In order to schedule a payment arrangement, that can be done through the Xfinity app by following the steps here:https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/set-up-payment-arrangement. If you are currently a viewer and have limited access to the account, your mother would have to change your access to a manager for you to be able to manage the account and make changes on her behalf.
