Billing issues since May

Billing issues for 5 months. I’m done

I’ve had Xfinity for four years. Everything‘s been great. They do raise your price after your contract goes up. If you call them, they will lower it back down.
That’s pretty standard for companies For some reason since May 2026, I signed a new contract to have my bill go back to what I was paying $55 a month because they raised it to $104. I signed a new contract for my usual $55 a month. I thought everything would be fine.
I’ve had to contact either someone over the phone or an online agent eight different times since May. I’ve spent probably 8 1/2 hours of my own time speaking to them and dealing with this. Every single rep was really nice and said my problem was fixed. Oh your bill is $55 a month. Then why is my statement showing 104 every month continuously ?As of September 2, 2026 I signed a new contract because apparently the other contract was having issues on their end. They gave me a really good deal $50 a month for five years, no contract. My balance was $0 as of September 2. It is now September 12, I’m having to call them for the ninth time and my account says I owe $215 and my balance is now past due, and my Internet is going to be shut off… I can’t spend more time dealing with this and I don’t understand why it’s so hard for me to sign a new contract and have my bill be the same every month. Unfortunately for me, they are the cheapest Internet in my area. I can’t deal with this any longer so I am canceling. I called on 9/12 to cancel my account and to remove charges. They opened an escalation credit request. Which I didn’t ask for. It is now closed as of today. They took of some of the balance but not all. It is now 9/16 my account is not canceled and I still have a balance of $142.70. I am getting livid. This is not acceptable.
