Billing Increases

In July of 2024, My rate increased from $60 to $80 (25% increase).  I tried to reach out to Xfinity customer service but couldn't get through the chat firewall to get any help.  Fast forward to July of this year and my bill went up to $109 (36% increase).  Not sure what is going on here.  Tried again to get through the chat firewall and was unsuccessful.  This is complete [Edited: "Language"].  You have my contact information.  Please contact me to discuss my billing.  I worked in telecom for 35 years and this is easily the worst customer service I have ever seen.  If I don't hear back, I am opening a complaint with the Florida Public Service Commission.  This practice of raising rates and hiding behind a firewall is completely unethical.

Good morning user_xpu24x

It sounds like the promotion had expired on the account. No worries, we can easily help with checking out some new options. Rest assured, we are not hiding, it sounds like there might be an active browser extension like ad block loading into your web browser, that typically blocks the window to load up. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a Direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears.

I don't think is a browser issue.  It was your chat that kept producing the same incorrect answer over and over and there is no way to escalate in chat so I was completely stuck.  That feels like hiding to me.  Maybe post better instructions regarding how to navigate through this or have someone ready to take escalations when they see customers stuck in chat.  That would be good customer service.
