Billing increased

I just noticed that my monthly internet bill increased from $30.94 to $70.94 this month. Could you confirm whether this increase is because my previous promotional pricing expired?

I really can’t afford to pay $70.94 per month for internet. Could you please check if there are any promotions or discounts available for my account and, if possible, apply the new rate to my current bill as well? My automatic payment isn’t scheduled until September 8.

Hi @user_yhtggx, thank you for posting on our Xfinity Forum Community platform! We understand how concerning it can be to see a sudden increase on your bill. We’re happy to help you look into what may have changed.

Have you checked your bill online through Xfinity.com? Or, have you accessed our Xfinity App to view your upcoming charges?

Common reasons for a bill increase can include promotional discounts ending, changes to your plan or services, added equipment, or onetime charges after a move or account update.

Our helpful article walks through how to read your bill and understand the charges you’re seeing:

And, to see what promotions are available to your service address, please review https://www.xfinity.com/lp/ppc/upgrade-xfinity-internet-service

Once you’ve had a chance to review it, let us know if you need further help!
