Billing increase

I was in a direct message chat but got disconnected due to internet loss.  I have a question on why my bill increased and my promotion decreased when it hasn’t expired.  Additionally, I keep getting a text that a tech needs to come to my house to address a problem with my service but no details as to what that problem is.
