Billing Dispute / Refund due...
I cancelled my internet service via phone with customer service on 6/09/25 in a frustrating 20+ minute call. I was given a cancellation # and advised that the "majority of my billing amount for June would be refunded", since I cancelled within 3 or 4 days of the new billing period. (out of $69.00 I should have received appx $52.00 as a refund according to the agent)
Not surprisingly, I received emails two weeks later from Xfinity making perceived threats that equipment would need to be returned or fees would be assessed. Obviously, as proven in hundreds or maybe thousands of other complaints, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing in your company. I purchased my own modem when I signed up for service and my account never has shown any equipment rental fees either!
When I received a notice that Xfinity was about to charge my cc on file again, I blocked all charges and also disputed the previously posted amount. I never received the promised refund and as of the latest email from July 15th, I am still being told to return equipment and to pay a balance that clearly is not due as YOU owe ME money!!
Your lack of customer service is evident and well documented over the years on public forums, social media and with the BBB; I will follow up with a complaint as well and if this matter is not resolved as I expect, I will not hesitate taking necessary legal steps to protect myself from this continued harassment and your erroneous accounting practices.
Govern yourself accordingly.

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

@user_3okovg Did you make sure you dont have any xfinity TV equipment? Xfinity has a free service called Xfinity Xumo ( formerly know as Xfinity Flex), it comes with one free wirless box, alot people forget to return it since the servie is free
