Billing Discrepancy

I just ordered the xfinity internet plan with 500 mbps and opted for self-installation. The immediate order confirmation page once I checked out showed that my monthly payment will be $51.46 with $0.00 in one-time payments. The order confirmation sent to my email shows a totally different set of charges that I wasn’t aware of. The email shows a bill for $95/month and the total deposit “paid today” as $125.00. Please explain where these charges are coming from, and what am I actually being charged in total to switch to xfinity internet?

Hello @user_mstar08! Thank you for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum, and welcome to the Xfinity family!❤️ I can understand the confusion when the amounts in your confirmation email don’t match what you saw during checkout.

Your order confirmation will provide details about your new service, equipment installation and activation. You can also sign in to your Xfinity account to review your services and available billing information. We have additional information about what to expect with your first bill here.

Please take a look at those details, and if the $95 monthly amount or $125 charge still isn’t clear, let us know. We’re here to help!

Thanks for getting back to me - I still am unclear about the charges laid out in my follow up confirmation email. I understand that my plan is originally priced at $95/month, but I opted for the promotional price at $50/month. I also opted for self installation, so unless this $125 deposit is a one time activation fee or an equipment fee, I have no clue what it is for. I have screenshots of the things I’m confused about if you need further information.
