Thanks for reaching out to us as an employee that works from home, I truly understand your concern about having a reliable, steady connection. Unfortunately, service interruptions can happen for many different reasons, whether it's weather-related or issues with our network or general overall maintenance.

Our technicians work as fast as possible to get everyone's services back up and running as soon as possible.

In the future, you can always request for credit or service interruptions due to the Xfinity app. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/credit-xfinity-assistant

We can credit you for the time you lost for your Xfinity account; however we would not be able to give you any kind of compensation for lost wages. lost wages are something you would have to reach out to your employer about.

But I'm happy to review your account for credit for the service interruptions for those days.

To get started, go ahead and send me a direct message including your first and last name and complete service address

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the “Direct Messaging” icon.
  3. Click the “Start new conversation” (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the “To:" line, type “Xfinity Support”.
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select “Xfinity Support” from that list.
  6. An “Xfinity Support” graphic will replace the “To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press “Enter” to send it.
