Billing charges

Hello,

I had cancelled my internet on 07/01 with my last date being confirmed 07/03. I have received a late notice for a bill that would have been for serviced after that and now a bill for services for the following month. My cancellation date has passed. I no longer use the service.

How do I resolve this?

s2j9685 Good morning! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to our Xfinity Forums Team for assistance with your billing concerns. I'm happy to clear up your concerns today. There's a couple different ways you can handle your billing. The first is you can pay that bill in full, and then when the final statement comes out; you will get an adjustment and refund back for anytime you were billed for after your cancellation date. The second option, is to wait for the final statement, and pay the adjusted balance. I hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if there are any other questions I may answer for you!

That seems concerning. I turned off auto pay as told. Now being billed, I don't want to risk being turned into collections based on a service I don't have.

When does that typically update?

And for clarification they're already charging for the following month bill.

s2j9685 I understand the concern. Did you have any equipment to return, and has it been turned in? Typically, it takes about a billing cycle.
