Your payment may take longer to process due to the long holiday weekend.  You should not be prevented from talking to a rep.

@NoNoBadPuppy I understand that but once I payed the bill it said it went through even after 1 hour later I checked again to make sure and it did say it went through and gave me a receipt, but I didn’t log In when I paid it, I simply just put my address and number and it gave me my total and I paid it like that, I have paid it like that before In the past and didnt have issues then. Since I haven’t had internet I decided to log in and see the bill and it told me I owed money. That’s what I’m confused about and I need the internet asap cuz I already missed one college class online.

@user_dccc14 I understand that you have a receipt, but the payment still has to process and the status of your account updated.  That can take a little longer due to the holiday weekend.  You ave a receipt that you paid, but that does not reflect the status or your account until it is processed and the update to your account takes effect. Hopefully you will have it already resolved as I am typing this.  In the future, when you call, tell them that you want to make a payment over the phone, and you will get someone who will be able to help.

Concern moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to actual Comcast employees for assistance.

@user_dccc14 Also, just to add, if you have access to online banking you can always check to see when your payment has been paid by your bank.

Some people [not you, but "global people"] will try to make a payment not realizing they don't have enough in their bank account, so even though they get a receipt for payment made, Comcast still has to wait for the bank to transfer the funds.  If there isn't enough funds to transfer then a problem arises.  So, this is the reason turning something back on isn't immediate but takes a bit of time.
