Billed for services at an address I cancelled

I moved - prior to moving I spoke to Xfinity about transferring my service to my new home.  The new home billing is correct.  However, Xfinfity never shut off the old address billing.  I continue to be billed for services at the old address.  I am now threatened with a past due amount.  I can not get a human being at Xfinity to correct the billing error and am worried it will hit my credit report.  I have attempted the "live chat" agents so many times it crazy.  Yet, no one fixes the issue.
