Billed after cancelling service

Hi,

I submitted a request to cancel my service in late October. I spoke with a customer service representative on 11/2 to confirm the cancellation request, and received an email confirmation of the cancellation.. On 11/3 my credit card was charged for a month of service. I would like a refund. Thank you.

We'd be happy to take a look at your account and ensure that you receive any applicable refund. To get started, can you please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name along with the service address on the account? 

 

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message: Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

I received a letter in the mail stating that i would be "credited" 50% of what I was charged. I was told via direct message with a representative that I would be refunded the total amount. This is unacceptable.
