Bill

I see that my bill is $50.98. I believe I should have the $40 or $45 plan. I have attempted to update my plan online, however It then states I owe $55. Please advise how I can change to the lower plan without additional charges.

Thank you,

@user_j72m3n We find it a common occurrence that the advertised price details that folks see online often miss the detail that autopay needs to be set up through us using a bank account and paperless billing to receive an additional $10 monthly discount. Based on the numbers you provided that is most likely the case in your situation at surface level. Did you sign up for both of those features when you enrolled with your latest plan?

Let's dive into your account and check the details and provide you with some billing insight. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
