From my experience it usually goes up due to an end in promotional rates on the account. In the spirit of transparency, we provide a listing of the active promotions, the amount saved, and the end date on each and every billing statement. It would be under your services in green text. If you are doing paperless billing, you can check your statements with the directions here : https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/view-xfinity-billing-history

Another reason it could be more than expected is If you recently just made changes to your account? When you make a package change a few things will occur. First, you'll receive a copy of your order summary at the email address listed on your account. If you did not get this you can also find it at http://xfinity.com/myaccount. Next, you will have prorated charges/credits applied to the account and if your billing statement was printed before the changes your MyAccount will reflect a statement balance and not the current balance. If there is an overpaymen that amount will go toward your next statement.

I am here to confirm what is going on @Tonya_a Please send me a Direct Message with your name and service address so that I can fully dive into this for you! I will leave you instructions on how to initiate the message with us! I look forward to working with you soon!
