user_6dcxgw - Hello, and thank you for joining us here on the Xfinity Forums. I appreciate you taking the time to reach out, and I understand how concerning changes like this can be. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) was launched by the federal government in December 2021, with $14.2 billion allocated by Congress to help lower‑income households access and maintain internet connectivity. Through ACP, eligible customers of participating providers received up to $30 per month toward internet or mobile services (or $75 per month for households on Tribal lands). Unfortunately, as of June 2024, funding for the ACP program has been fully depleted.

That said, we do still have options to help keep internet service affordable. Internet Essentials is available for qualifying households and offers:

$14.95/month for speeds up to 75 Mbps, or
$29.95/month for speeds up to 100 Mbps

In addition, the program includes access to low‑cost computers, free Xfinity WiFi hotspots, and complimentary digital skills training, all designed to help households stay connected and confident online.
You can apply with just a few simple steps here:

Please note that Xfinity is not a participating provider in the Lifeline program and does not offer Lifeline benefits. If you have any questions about eligibility or would like help getting started, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
