bill up again in spite of lowering it last month

I need help AGAIN.  I made changes to my acct in Feb that indeed LOWERED my bill, but only for ONE month. My bill is UP again with NO CHANGES that I can perceive. Perhaps it's because I was billed at the lower rate for part of the month? I cannot follow easily. Last month: $182.76. This month $212.07 which is too much; this is so frustrating.. How is it that prices keep going up and up and up when ppl under 30 don't even subscribe to TV services?

You need to look at the FULL detailed bill and see what is going on between the two months, not just the bottom line.

I would check the price on your equipment and various fees. They can change anytime without regard to any agreement you have.

@Terry0327 Thanks but I literally rent NOTHING from Comcast so not that. I believe I figured it out but still very, very frustrated. In the age of cutting the cord, Comcast demonstrates ZERO interest in customer retention. New ppl get better deals every day but not those who are loyal which I find very disconcerting.

Hello @mimimanzler. I understand what you mean about the difference in pricing for new and existing customers. However, brand-new customers are offered lower-priced plans at an introductory rate. Like existing customer offers, the promotions and or discounts are provided for a limited time, and once those discounts roll off, it will cause the bill to increase to the normal rate for those services. Feel free to contact us again in the near future to see if anything changes. We'd be happy to help!

I no longer work for Comcast.

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
